Washington, Indiana | Serving Veterans Across the Midwest
The Burch-Wood Veterans Reintegration Center is being developed with one clear mission: to provide homeless and at-risk veterans with a safe, structured, and supportive path back to stability, independence, and purpose.
Rooted in Washington, Indiana, and centered on serving veterans across the Midwest, this center will be built for all veterans, regardless of branch, era of service, background, or hometown. We accept referrals from the Department of Veterans Affairs and seek to work alongside VA partners, veteran service organizations, community agencies, businesses, and civic leaders to ensure veterans receive the support they have earned.
Now, we are inviting corporate partners to stand with us.
This is more than a building project. It is a chance to help transform the former Washington Nursing Center into a place of hope, housing, recovery, employment readiness, mentorship, and reintegration for veterans who need a new beginning.
Homelessness among veterans is not only a housing issue. It is often connected to unemployment, lack of transportation, health challenges, benefit access, isolation, financial instability, and the difficult transition back into civilian life.
The Burch-Wood Veterans Reintegration Center is being designed to address those challenges with dignity and structure.
Corporate sponsors will help make it possible to develop a center that can offer or coordinate services such as:
Safe transitional housing
Veteran case management
Employment readiness and job placement support
VA benefits and resource navigation
Transportation assistance
Life skills and financial literacy
Peer mentorship
Mental health and recovery referrals
Basic needs support
Permanent housing transition assistance
Community reintegration support
Your sponsorship helps create the foundation veterans need to move from crisis to stability, and from survival to self-sufficiency.
The center will be located in Washington, Indiana, but its mission reaches beyond one city, one county, or one state.
The Midwest has a proud tradition of military service, strong communities, and people who take care of their own. This project gives businesses an opportunity to support a regional veteran reintegration effort that can serve as a model for what is possible when local leadership, corporate responsibility, and veteran advocacy come together.
By partnering with the Burch-Wood Veterans Reintegration Center, your company becomes part of a mission that reflects service, patriotism, compassion, and real community impact.
Corporate sponsors will be recognized as key partners in the effort to build and sustain the Burch-Wood Veterans Reintegration Center. Sponsorship recognition opportunities may include:
